TOOL LIFE: The tool life may be defined as tool's useful life
formula to calculate tool life is given below

V= velocity of the cutting tool (m/min)
T= tool life(min)
C= constant
n= An exponent, which depends upon the tool and work piece
= 0.1 to 0.2 for high speed steel tools
=0.2 to 0.25 for for carbide tools
=0.4 to 0.55 for ceramic tools
TOOL LIFE: according to the material of the cutting tool
CERAMIC > CARBIDE > HIGH SPEED STEEL TOOL > HIGH CARBON STEEL TOOL
